2018 TCYBA Spring League Information
For 2018 SPRING BREAK CAMP INFO – CLICK HERE
The TCYBA Spring Development League registration will commence on February 14th. Information regarding the Registration Phases TCYBA offers and the registration pricing breakdown is outlined below.
The Spring League practices will begin the week of April 9th, and will finish on June 8th. There are no practices or games on Statutory Holidays or District-wide Pro-D days.
All players must be registered online.
PHASE 1- Returning Fall/ Winter 2017/18 Players- February 14th to 17th, 2018
Returning Fall/ Winter 2017/18 Players returning to the same team: This phase is only for players returning to the Same Team they played on in the Fall/ Winter 2017/18 League.
PHASE 2- Returning Fall/ Winter 2017/18 - February 18th to February 21st, 2018
Returning Fall/ Winter 2017/18 Players registering to a new team: Returning Players from Fall/ Winter 2017/18 wishing to register to a different team from the one they played on in the Fall/ Winter league may begin registering.
Phase 1 players may also continue to register
PHASE 3- Returning Spring 2017 Players - February 23rd to 27th, 2018
Returning Spring 2017 Players: Players from Spring 2017 may register to any team with available space.
Phase 1 & 2 players may also continue to register
NEW PLAYER REGISTRATION: March 1st, 2018
New players to TCYBA may begin registering as of March 1st, 2018. Returning players may also continue to register.
**Please note if you have played with TCYBA in previous seasons, but did not play in Fall/Winter 2017/18 or Spring 2017, you will be registering during the New Player Registration beginning March 1st, 2018.
How to Register
To register, please CLICK HERE or on the Blue Star Site Tab (located in the drop-down menu of the Red Registration Tab at the top right of this page). This will take you to our registration site (Blue Star), please set up a new Member Account or log into your existing Member Account, and complete the parent and player information. Once this is completed you will be directed to a page with a listing of teams that have roster space available.
**Please note if a team is full it will be indicated under the team information and you will have to option to register to the waitlist for that team. Your credit card will not be charged if you are registering to a waitlist. If a spot opens up on that team you will receive an email from the League Registrar.
The registration will open at 6am on the first day and close at Midnight on the last day of each Phase. Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard. Unfortunately at this time Blue Star Sports is unable to accept Debit.
What is the registration fee for Spring 2018?
The online registration fee for players participating in the 2018 spring session will be:

Although other registrants may have participated in the TCYBA previously, it is necessary for them to pay the New Player fee for Spring 2018 as it includes
apparel and ball, not provided to returning players from Fall.
IMPORTANT ITEMS TO NOTE:
If you attempt to register your child during a registration phase and you are not eligible to do so, your registration will be rejected and you will be
required to re-register during the appropriate phase. All registrations are reviewed by the League Registrar to ensure eligibility requirements are
YOUR RECEIPT FOR REGISTRATION THAT IS GENERATED BY OUR REGISTRATION SITE (BONZI) IS NOT A CONFIRMATION OF PLACEMENT ON A TEAM (it is strictly to let you know that we have received your request and it will detail the information regarding the team that you have requested to participate on).
NO REGISTRATION IS CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU RECEIVE A SECOND E-MAIL FROM THE LEAGUE REGISTRAR.
To prevent missing out on the emails please make sure that Tri-City Youth Basketball Association via BonziMail Support@Bluestarsports.com has
been added to your safe sender's list and double check that you have not Unsubscribed to Bonzi/Blue Star Mail communications on your Member Account.
A full refund of regular registration fees will be provided where a player chooses to withdraw due to a change in practice time/location initiated by the
league. Such refunds will not be assessed an administration fee.
All other refund requests will be issued as follows:
Spring 2018 Season:
Registration to March 18th: regular league fee less $25 administration fee
March 19th to April 5th: 50% reimbursement of regular league fee
April 6th: NO REFUND
*Parents/players may apply for a full refund of registration fees, citing extraordinary circumstances. Such requests must be made in writing to the Board
of Directors through the League Coordinator. The Board will consider such requests on an individual basis.
*The Grade 3/4 level will be implementing the new 3 on 3 format outlined on the tcyba.org website.
*Grade 9/10 & 11/12 Boys teams will play their games on Saturdays. Refunds will not be provided for schedule conflicts that may occur with TCYBA games.
