Call for Spring Coaches

Call for Spring Coaches

In preparation for the upcoming TCYBA 2023 spring season, we would like to determine if you are planning to coach this spring. If you are, please let us know ASAP to secure your gym time.

Our spring season will begin the week of April 3 and end the week of May 29.

For returning Fall/Winter Coaches

  • Please let us know if you would like to keep your Fall/Winter practice time/location or if you would prefer a different time and/or location based on availability. Please include your current division, practice location, day and time.

For new and returning Spring coaches

  • If you are a new or a previous spring season only coach and you would like to coach a team this spring, please indicate which division and gender (i.e. Grade  5/6 girls) you would like to coach.
    • Please note: new players must play at their grade/age level (i.e. new grade 6 player may only play in Grade 5/6. Playing in Grade 6/7 is considered playing up).

Priority will be given to returning fall/winter teams requesting the same time and location they currently have.

About Us

The Tri-City Youth Basketball Association (TCYBA) was formed in 1999 and is a registered, volunteer-driven, not-for-profit that serves the youth of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody (Tri-Cities) and surrounding areas in British Columbia, Canada. Currently we have well over 2000 players, from Kindergarten to grade 12, playing in various divisions including both competetive and recreational play. Open to both boys and girls, the club operates out of school gyms across the Tri-City area and strives to ensure all youth that want to enjoy the sport have an opportunity to participate
