Fall/ Winter League Jr. NBA (Grade 2 to 12)
The TCYBA Fall/Winter season runs from September to February. Registration for the Fall/Winter 2019-20 session is now closed.
Spring League Jr. NBA (Grade 2 to 12)
Registration for the 2020 Spring League is currently scheduled to open for Returning Players on February 7th and New Player Registration opens February 28th.

Jr. NBA Rookie Division (Kindergarten to Grade 2)
Winter 2020 Jr. NBA Rookie Division (Kindergarten to Grade 2) – Registration begins November 10th!

Who: For players in Kindergarten to Grade Two
Program Duration: 8-week program running from the week of January 6th until February 28th
There are three different registration periods depending on whether your child is currently playing in the Fall 2019 Jr. NBA Rookie Division. Please read the following to determine the appropriate phase for you:
Phase One - November 10th to 16th. Early registration for players currently in the Fall Program registering back to the SAME team they are currently registered to.
- Note: Spaces will only be held for players wishing to continue with their current team until Midnight November 16th
- Note: If the Fall Team is not continuing for the Winter Session the players will need to register starting November 17th
Phase Two - November 17th to 24th. Players currently in the Fall Session may register to any team that has available space.
Phase Three - November 25th. Registration is open for New Players to register to any team with available space.
- Returning Players $70 (they will not be issued a new T-Shirt & Ball)
- New Payers $100
- Cancel by December 15th and you will be refunded the fee, less a $25 admin fee
- Cancel by December 31st: 50% Refund
- After Dec 31st the fees are Non-Refundable
Camps and Academies
TCYBA Holiday Hoop Camps
The Tri City Youth Basketball Association will once again be offering our popular Winter holiday break skills camps (Jan 2- 4)
The TCYBA Holiday Hoop camps are designed for players looking to develop their athleticism and improve their offensive skills. The camps will focus on passing, shooting, ball handling, footwork, decision making and understanding of the game.
Here is a list of camps available for registration:
- Grades 3/4 (Boys and Girls): Jan 2- 4 9:00 am – 10:30 am) - $75.00
- Grades 5/6 (Boys and Girls): Jan 2- 4 (10:30 am – 12:30 pm) - $80.00
- Grades 7/8 (Boys and Girls): Jan 2- 4 (1:00 pm – 3:00 pm) - $80.00
All camps will take place at Port Moody Secondary School, 300 Albert St, Port Moody, BC V3H 2M5

TCYBA Refund Policy
A full refund of regular registration fees will be provided where a player chooses to withdraw due to a change in practice time/location initiated by the league. Such refunds will not be assessed an administration fee.
All other refund requests will be issued as follows:
Fall/ Winter 2019-20 season:
- Registration Opening to August 31st: Regular league fee less $25 administration fee
- September 1st to 15th: 50% reimbursement of regular league fee
- After September 15th: NO REFUND
*Parents/players may apply for a full refund of registration fees, citing extraordinary circumstances. Such requests must be made in writing to the Board of Directors by emailing the League Coordinator. The Board will consider such requests on an individual basis.
*The Grade 3/4 level will be implementing the new 3 on 3 format outlined on the tcyba.org website.
*Grade 9/10 & 11/12 Boys teams will play their games on Saturdays. Refunds will not be provided for schedule conflicts that may occur with TCYBA games.
