KidSport Tri-Cities Used Sporting Goods Sale September 7

At Tri-City Youth Basketball, one of our most treasured partnerships is with KidSport Tri-Cities, a not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under.

KidSport is holding their Used Sporting Goods Sale, presented by Westminster Savings on Saturday, September 7th from 10am to 1pm at the Poirier Forum.
Read on for more details on the event and also on how you can also donate and drop off used sporting goods prior to the event! De-clutter, save money and help local families. Sounds like a plan to us!


Save Money and Help the Community at the Same Time!

KidSport Tri-Cities is holding another highly anticipated Used Sporting Goods Sale, presented by Westminster Savings:

Saturday, September 7th, from 10am until 1pm

Poirier Forum – across the street from the Arena and Pool, 618 Poirier St., Coquitlam

Admission is by donation or item(s) for the SHARE Food Bank

Open to everyone! If you or your family is in to sports, we will save you money! A huge variety of High Quality used sporting goods at incredible prices. Everything from bikes and hockey gear to fitness equipment and wetsuits and everything in between. You can outfit a child for hockey (including skates and a helmet) for $100. Lacrosse (including a stick and helmet) for $90. Plus,there’s no tax. Cash and Credit Cards accepted.

All proceeds go to subsidize registration fees for kids from lower income families. Save a ton of $$$ and help your community at the same time. More than 2,000 people attended last year…YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS SALE!

To make this event a huge success KidSport needs equipment! Families are encouraged to donate and drop off their gently used sporting goods of any kind from Aug 28 – Sept 6 at the following locations:

Port Coquitlam Rec Centre

Port Moody Rec Centre

Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex

If you have gently used equipment taking up space in your garage or basement, this is a great opportunity to free up some space, donate the equipment (including bikes) and make a great contribution to our community. Please remember to also come by the sale for some amazing deals and tell your friends!

SERVING TRI-CITY YOUTH SINCE 1999

The Tri-City Youth Basketball Association (TCYBA) was formed in 1999 and is a registered, volunteer-driven, not-for-profit that serves the youth of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody (Tri-Cities) and surrounding areas in British Columbia, Canada. Currently we have well over 2000 players, from Kindergarten to grade 12, playing in various divisions including both competetive and recreational play. Open to both boys and girls, the club operates out of school gyms across the Tri-City area and strives to ensure all youth that want to enjoy the sport have an opportunity to participate
