Targeted Athlete - Academy for Competitive Excellence (ACE)

Posted on: September 22, 2021
Tri-City Youth Basketball Association is pleased to announce the Targeted Athlete - Academy for Competitive Excellence (ACE) will continue during the fall season. This is a TCYBA operated program that focuses on the skill enhancement of selected players in a High-Performance Environment.
The program will be led by Anthony Luyken who has served as Canada Basketball / Basketball BC Centre for Performance, BC Targeted Athlete Strategy program and Basketball BC Provincial Team coach.
Additional assistant coaches may be taking part in the ACE sessions to ensure an appropriate coach to player ratio is maintained.
While the ACE program is for more experienced players and is not suitable for players who haven’t played basketball previously, the most important factor in participating in the program is to simply be dedicated to improving your basketball skills and committed to attending the scheduled sessions.

Open tryouts for the ACE program will be held on October 14. There is no cost for trying out but you must pre-register based on the following schedule:
