SPRING LEAGUE PRACTICES BEGIN THE WEEK APRIL 7th, 2019

TCYBA Playing it Forward

Posted on: June 15, 2016

Four of the TCYBA’s U14 Rep Girls have been volunteering since October with the jr.NBA program. The long time TCYBA players have stepped up to act as mentors for our K – Grade 2 players under the tutelage of Jr. NBA Head Coach Graham Lidiard.

The four girls, Paige Lidiard, Jenny Mun, Maggie Sew and Janice Oh have been through all levels of the TCYBA Development Program and the Rep Program. They are taking time out of their busy schedules to help each week with our players getting their first experience with basketball.

The benefits for our new players is immediate as they are getting some great one on one coaching from these talented young ladies. The benefits  go both ways though as the older girls have enjoyed every minute of the volunteer experience and feel great about giving back to the TCYBA.
