Tri-City Youth Basketball Community Shows Great Support for #Humboldtstrong

This past weekend TCYBA teams from all divisions wore green tape on their jerseys as a show of support for our fellow athletes, sports parents and the youth athletic community in Humboldt Saskatchewan following the tragedy they suffered recently.

I visited a number of gyms over our game days on Friday and Saturday and was pleased to see our basketball community come out and support Humboldt so well. Green tape was a way we could safely show our support to those families that were affected by this tragic loss of young people traveling to engage in the sport they loved.

Thank you to all of our players, coaches, officials, and parents that demonstrated the best of our community in showing our support for #Humboldtstrong.

Please keep those families in your thoughts and prayers while being grateful for each moment you share with each other both on the court and off.

Thank you on behalf of the Board of Directors,

Todd Purves
