Tri-City Youth Basketball Association is pleased to announce the return of its extremely popular Skill Development Performance Academy for Winter 2020.
These sessions are for players of all levels that want to develop and enhance their individual ability, focusing on:
- Shot Preparation
- Shooting Mechanics
- Ball Handling
- Decision Making
Interested players, especially those at the grade 5/6 level, do not need to have a great deal of experience to take part.
Head Coaches for TCYBA’s academy programs are Anthony Luyken and Joe Enevoldson. Anthony and Joe have both served as Canada Basketball / BBC Centre for Performance and served as Basketball BC Provincial Team coaches in the past.
Additional assistant coaches may be taking part in the academy sessions to ensure that an appropriate coach to player ratio is maintained.
The most important factor in participating in the Academy program is to simply be dedicated to improvement and committed to attend the scheduled sessions.
