Official Tri-City Youth Basketball Association photographs may be requested to be taken of children on any of our games, training sessions and clinics, these pictures may be used, reproduced & published in Tri-City Youth Basketball Association publications with consent from the child's parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
Media Policy
In accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Tri-City Youth Basketball Association (TCYBA) requires consent to use personal information for purposes related and unrelated to our basketball programs.
In compliance with this act, the Tri-City Youth Basketball Association (TCYBA) requests and secures permission to use photographs/videos/names of individual players and groups of players in a variety of publications to promote the TCYBA. This could include newsletter, brochures, newspapers, magazines, reports, the TCYBA website, radio, videos or television. This also includes permission for your child to be photographed by the media (TV or newspaper) for events relating to TCYBA.
TCYBA does not distribute or share photos in their possession, from its website or allow the use of photographic or video images to be taken at its practices, games or events for commercial undertakings or advertising that are not endorsed and preapproved by the league’s Board of Directors.
